Les catholiques du Pas-de-Calais présentent à leurs voisins d’Outre-Manche leurs profondes condoléances à l’occasion du décès de la Reine Elizabeth II, cheffe de l’Église d’Angleterre.
Ils assurent leurs frères et sœurs anglicans, particulièrement ceux du diocèse de Cantorbéry avec lesquels ils entretiennent des liens forts, de leurs prières.
Ils se souviennent avec émotion des moments historiques de communion vécus avec la Reine Elizabeth II dans le Pas-de-Calais, en 1994 lors de l’inauguration du Tunnel sous la Manche et en 2007 à l’occasion de la commémoration du 90ème anniversaire de la bataille de Vimy.

The Catholics of Pas-de-Calais wish to express their deeply felt sympathy to their neighbours over the Channel for the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Head of the Church of England.
They will remember in their prayers their Anglican brothers and sisters, particularly those from the Diocese of Canterbury, with whom they share very strong bonds.
They fondly recall the historic moments of communion with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Pas-de-Calais, in 1994 on the opening of the Channel Tunnel, and in 2007 on the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Vimy Ridge Battle.
